The Heart Behind Ask Garden Guy

We’re Todd and Sabrina Farber, the husband-and-wife duo behind Garden Guy and Ask Garden Guy. For nearly three decades, we’ve been helping homeowners in Houston and Fort Bend County turn outdoor stress into something beautiful, livable, and low-maintenance.

Married for 30 years, we’re the proud parents of five kids—and we treat every landscape like it’s our own front yard.

Todd Farber

Houston Native | Aggie Horticulturist (Class of ’91)

Todd grew up right here in Houston and graduated from Bellaire High before heading to Texas A&M to study Horticulture. In 1991, he started Garden Guy with a simple mission: to bring expert landscaping to local families who wanted honesty, heart, and down-to-earth results.

Todd’s still the boots-on-the-ground guy—designing, digging, and walking yards to this day.

Local Roots, Lasting Relationships

We live and work in First Colony, proudly serving homeowners in Sugar Land, Missouri City, Sienna, Katy, Richmond, and across the Houston area since 1991.

We’ve been honored as a Nextdoor Neighborhood Favorite multiple times—and it means the world to us that so many of you trust us with your homes.

Still Family-Owned. Still Hands-On.

At Ask Garden Guy, we’re not a franchise, call center, or corporate machine.
We’re just Todd, Sabrina, and a close-knit team—focused on giving you:

Quick Turnarounds – No long delays or phone tag

Personal Attention – You deal with us, not a salesperson

Budget-Friendly Options – We run lean and pass the savings to you

Because your landscape should feel like home—not a hassle.
